Yeah, not exactly WPT success, but certainly success on the 'circuit'. There was a time when Amir was winning every tourney in sight.

I had a conversation with him last year at the airport, and he said he used to own a big trucking company in LA, and then sold it to start playing poker professionally. I'm guessing that's where most of his BR is from, not sure how much he sold the company for.

He was at my table at Commerce Heavenly Hold Em....Paul Lee was next to me...Vahedi was going on and on about how great his life was, but how terrible his finances were. This was a $300 tourney. After he busted out, he was playing the 5/10 cash tables. He was making some very questionable moves before he got busted from the tourney.
