I haven't smoked weed in a while, but using two butter knives and a toilet paper roll was always a good time just for the ghetto aspect and the inevitable question about WTF happened to the knives at a later point. Worst thing I ever used was a page from the Bible... totally -EV even if your an athiest for the pure fact that it's not gonna help the cause if he exists.

Empty soda can would fall under the category of, "Most used make-shift pipe for weed". I doubt it's a favorite however.
