Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
Maybe this is an uninteresting hands. But considering button is a small stack it smells AA or KK of BBs call. He wanna let button go all in preflop that way he lures me in as well.
Can I call this a good read and a good laydown? |

Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
What is BB's total aggression? Can't tell if it's 7 or 0.07.
BB's flat call preflop and then minraise with button still to act in both instances is pretty strong indeed. More info about how you've been playing at this table might be helpful as well. |

Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
I guess I have been quite loose and aggressive the first 20 hands. BBs aggression 0.7

Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
I guess you've got some conflicting info here, then. He's pretty loose PF and passive post. He could potentially be reacting to your lagginess, but I'd tend to mostly discount that because it's multiway.
Calling and seeing what he does on the turn doesn't feel right (he's only got about $60 left after the flop). You're OOP. Jeez I'm probably folding against this villain. Folks want to chime in here? I'm curious how ya'll feel about the size of the flop bet. If you'd bet closer to pot and then he minraised it'd be more pure and probably make it an easier laydown. |

Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
min-raising w/ 2 players left to act is usually a strong hand, could call and fold turn he could just "be seeing where hes at" with his af though i think it's a fold.

Re: QQ: Another overpair situation
Aggression factor of .7 is pretty damn passive here, this means this guy doesn't bet very often, likes to call and very rairly raises.
50BB's i agree, we should probably just shove it in here, but his cold call from the BB in a 3 bet pot screams strength. I call flop, and then probably c/f turn if I dont improve. |
