Villian is an aggro 40/20 player who previously 3bet me from the sb with AQ and 2 barrelled me on a rag flop. Should I 3-bet preflop and fold to push or calls the 3-bet and fold somewhere in the hand?

i would 3 bet pre flop, in this hand considering ur OOP i think you should be taking control. if you then bet the flop and get raised im thinking get it all in onthe flop. if he really has a 7 u still have two outs, but its very unlikely that he does have the 7. check calling him down is pretty weak and if an ace or king comes on the river you have to let it go and by just calling him down on the flop and turn your letting him catch cards for free.

he was 3 bet - are you suggesting a 4 bet?

a 7 is in ~0% of his range so thats kinda irrelevant.

when the play is real deep i actually prefer to 4 bet more pf - i like a 4 bet here myself although i wouldnt do it with only 100 bbs in front.

as played i think about raising the flop but would probably end up folding the turn

so yes, 4 bet is what i meant. can you explain why you would fold the turn and what hand you put him on?
