Live 40/80 hand
Villian in this hand is pretty tight and what I would call conservative. He is the SB.
I'm on the button and I'm dealt 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. After two limpers there is a raise from the CO and I call two cold. SB now makes it 3 bets, everyone calls. Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB leads out, one of the limpers calls, I raise, SB 3bets limper folds and I go into call down mode as he has one of two hands, AA or AK. This hand got me thinking. Givin the tight conservative SB in this hand, would I have been better off making it 4 bets on the flop and folding to a five bet? Thoughts? |

Re: Live 40/80 hand
id like to get in one more big bet somewhere here
id probably play the rest of the hand like this call 3rd bet, call turn raise/fold to 3bet on river on a board where he realizes he has the nuts with trip Aces if a 3 or 4 rolls off on the turn id also consider throwing in a raise so i can bet again on the river if you believe he wouldnt 3bet here with AA but would still be willing to showdown with AK |
