the last time I played 10/20 there I'd have to say the people didn't learn how to play anywhere.

Just find a good table early and strap yourself in.

I'm considering dressing the part of tourist (shorts, sandals, goofy hat that is illegal to wear except at the beach in the summer) - thoughts on if this will help/hurt my game?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not necessary....1/2 NL at the Borgota is so soft they won't really care what you look like. Just don't go crazy with the hat and shades. You don't want to scare them off.

ok, it seems 10/20 and 1/2 NL are both winners. which one for less variance this weekend? Also, they going to have their ~$300 tourney in the morning?

I can't comment on the 10/20 game, but I've played 1/2 NL four times during the past two weeks. My sessions were about 6 hours each. Here were my results:

1. Up $165 (first time playing at the Borgata)
2. Up $347
3. Up $150
4. Down $75

Just play tight and pay attention to the players that come and go. IMO, physical tells aren't as important at this level. What's more important to me is the betting patterns. Pay attention to hands you're not involved in and get an idea on who bet when and why.

Not a hard game to beat.

Good luck.

totally donktastic game, hopefully will be easy money again today. Will move to 20/40 if I have another equally fun day.
