Cant cash check from Stars....
Check that was issued came in a week so that wasnt the problem. The problem is whoever sent it never signed it . I have an email into stars on what to do next but i was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem and what was done. Thanks

If they accidentally forgot to sign the cheque, it will fail at some stage during the banking process, so you need to get it back to them for signature.
What did Support/Cashier say when you told them of the mistake?

I still have the check in front of me. I didnt notice it not being signed until the teller at the bank pointed it out after she had already stamped the back of the check under where i had signed and so she gave the check back to me. I havent heard back from stars since i emailed them. I will let you know what they say when i do.

funny.. the stars check I just deposited the other day, the signature is just printed on there, it's not like they have some dude furiously signing checks in a room.

Bah! I just got my check from PStars and it's missing a signature too. If I hadn't read this thread earlier today I probably wouldn't have noticed. [/ QUOTE ] Just got an email back from them saying they are going to forward my email to the right person. I will keep posted when i get any info.

I started a thread this morning on this exact issue.
I received a check from Stars yesterday that was NOT endorsed by the company that sent it. I have been in communique with Stars support and they said that they would issue a stop payment on the check and then re-credit my account within 2 business days (probably friggin' Wednesday of next week). This is frustrating to say the least.
