Bottom 2 OOP
Button is a seemingly solid player, a regular. Only real weakness I've seen is a little bit weak shorthanded, playing somewhat meekly. He's changed that around now, and I almost have the feeling he's overcompensating. This is all pure speculation though, I guess. However, he's still pretty solid and can make moves.
Again, I apologize for the format. 3 handed 200 euro(1/2) Hero is in BB with Qs9s. Button(covers me) raises to 6, sb folds, Hero(200) calls. Flop(13): Ah Qc 9c Hero checks, Button bets 8.5, Hero raises to 25, Button calls. Turn(63): Ah Qc 9c 5h Hero bets 46, Button calls. River(155): Ah Qc 9c 5h 6d Hero shoves for 123... |

Re: Bottom 2 OOP
Turn and river are about as innocuous as they come.
I'm for it, although I think the river should have been a smaller value bet. I think theres a very good chance he has A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], and he'll likely call a value bet but not a push. I don't think theres enough hands in his range that call your push (and that we're beating) but he also is likely to just call with a weaker 2 pair like A5 or A6. Make it 60 to go on the river instead, I think. |
