TP2K facing river minraise
I know the river is a fold, but how does this line look in general? I apologize for the format, anyone know a B2B hand converter?
Reads are slim with no PAHud, general idea is that he is weak, plays hands weirdly and sometimes poorly. Your typical below average player. 200 Euro (1/2) 6max Hero is in sb with AcQd UTG(140) calls, folds to me(210), I make it 10 total, BB(covers both) calls, utg calls. Flop(30): 7d 5h 9s checked around. Turn(30): 7d 5h 9s As Hero bets 20, BB folds, UTG calls. River(70): 7d 5h 9s As 6c Hero bets 35, UTG minraises, Hero folds. |

Re: TP2K facing river minraise
How about a check-call (depending on the size of the bet) on the river? Betting half the pot here only gets value from a few hands that you beat (AJ, AT, or ATiny). I don't think the mistake is folding, since you're probably behind, but the bet on 5th street doesn't make sense. I would probably check-call here, especially from a weak opponent. As it stands, however, it looks like a fold is correct.

Re: TP2K facing river minraise
I like the bet instead of check because you get value from a bunch of hands that would check behind. If you check and he bets you might make a bad fold, and if you do call you might as well have bet in the first place. Might as well bet and immediately fold to a raise.

Re: TP2K facing river minraise
Fold the river as played. It looks like you are inposition, so I would just check behind on the river. No better hand will really call, and you open yourself up to ugliness.
