5/10 Easy pass on flop. Was my lead terrible ?
2nd hand at table, no reads. Felt like an easy fold.
Preflop: Hero is in MP with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls 5, 2 folds, Hero raises to 10, MP calls 10, 1 fold, CO raises to 15, 1 fold, SB calls 12.50, 1 fold, UTG calls 10, Hero calls 5, MP calls 5. Flop (80.00) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets 5, MP raises to 10, CO raises to 15, 3 folds, MP raises to 10, CO calls 5. |

if the CO is rational, this is reasonable, I think this post happened because the CO turned out to be an aggresive loon.

Re: 5/10 Easy pass on flop. Was my lead terrible ?
I always have problems getting reads on the table freak show when I first sit down. If I were OP I would have mucked it too ... and then puked later.

Re: 5/10 Easy pass on flop. Was my lead terrible ?
I wouldn't call this an easy fold, but this is a fold that a good player is capable of making. The only reason why I'm hesitant to say it's great is because you have no reads and the pot is huge. However, with the CO 3-betting whenever he can, I think you're behind here and mucking it is the right thing to do.
