you really should be betting this flop. I know you bet when you miss, and do you really want to give him a free chance to hit his flush/set/etc, and you defiantly get called by worse.

As played, your flop check is going to induce bluffs/bets from plenty worse hands, so turn/river are fine as played.

i like the flop check sometimes, everyone saying "OMG TERRIBLE" is definitely wrong. You can check here for sure.

It's not terrible to do this once in a while but I'd bet that flop almost every time. When you checked, you obviously have to call it down.

[/ QUOTE ] If done sparringly (the check flop that is) I think this is played fine. I wouldn't raise anywhere as I don't think you get called by much worse.
