Re: Negreanu Theorem with TPTK
What do we know about Villain? If he's an advanced player, then you've got to think he wouldn't have a straight, because you gave him improper drawing odds twice (twice, assuming he's smart enough not to play 7 6 pf). Discounting the straight, then you'd have to decide if he's capable of playing OOP pf w/5 T, 5 4, or 5 3 (the full house hands). Doesn't seem likely to me. The way he bet this one, I just don't see him having many hands that beat you here.

Re: Negreanu Theorem with TPTK
Looks like Ahxh to me. Maybe the x is a 5, but I doubt it. Probably AhQh or something. I'd call.
Is it me or is 40 a lot scarier to call here than 47? |

Re: Negreanu Theorem with TPTK
Call, sometimes it's bluff, sometimes it's set. I would lean more towards folding if he typically doesn't run dumb bluffs like this if it is a bluff.

Re: Negreanu Theorem with TPTK
If your image is such that raising here under the gun will allow you to isolate an 85/20, go for it, but this is def. table dependant.
As played, river is an easy fold, this guy is classic def of a calling station, and with a .5 aggression do you guys realize that this guy like never bets out?? You are beat, move on to the next hand, no use putting money in here in a marginal situation against a villain who you know is going to call if he hits any piece of the flop, does not understand pot odds at all, and never shows aggression unless he actually hits a monster. |

But anyway I dont think the OP is good here, but i prob still call. |

i draw the line for myself at AJo i know some really good players who fold that i cant give you exact cause it all depends but just think about this you have to play pretty damn straight forward OOP but you can do anything IP so i'd say, a good place to start is to play less OOP [/ QUOTE ] i dont know if you guys worked this out by the end of the thread. but raising ATo utg six handed is a trash play. baluga is 100% correct it is a big deal.
