Re: how easy is it to win money at a low stakes nl table in vegas?
Sometimes.
Sometimes the tourists have a clue, like the three guys at my 1/3 table from Casino Az that kept using 2+2 wordage. Sometimes there are almost as many local pros as tourists, like when 4 of them showed up at my 1/2 table at TI. Sometimes only one pro shows up, like at my 2/5 table at Bellagio, but since she had made multiple tv final tables, what lacked in quantity was made up for in quality. |

The majority sucks, even the regulars too. However, that depends on your own current level ^_^

The times I went to Vegas I find myself playing against the locals. Actually every table that I played at(I usually try to go to every casino and play 7-10 different ones) had Vegas regulars. One of the places I played was against a group of Vegas locals(6 guys) on a full ring table. They hinted I can join there team when. Its easy, but just make sure you read up and are ready to go. |

Re: how easy is it to win money at a low stakes nl table in vegas?
Nothing is easy but it is very possible.
I've been to Vegas three times this year and heading back June 22nd for the 1,500 NL event # 38. I've either come home with more money than I left with or the same. I went out in April and played in 3 tourneys including the 500+50 circuit event at Caesars and I was able to win enough at the 1/2 tables to cover all my tourney buy-ins, meals, and one small excursion to the Spearmint Rhino, and I'm just an average cash game player. I'm much better in the tourneys. But you definitely have your ups and downs. I was up two grand in February and almost lost it all on the last day (waiting on an 11:30pm redeye,) I had a terrible run of cards and suckouts. About 5:30 I was about to give up when I stumbled into Paris and started catching cards against some deep pocketed tourists and got it all back. Hell, I'm a tourist too. I just play a lot of cards. Poker is up and down. I think we all know that by now. The good players are just better at minimizing their losses. |

how easy is it to catch striped bass surfcasting in capecod? [/ QUOTE ] My god i caught some amazing stripers on plum island... For like two years the gettin was sickkk. Nothing like catching 20 pound stripers from shore surfcasting with clams. Soft games in vegas are easier than that by a mile. |
