Default Perspective

I raise UTG in an 8 handed game. Gonores 3-bets. Odd dude (OD) 4-bets in MP. Rest fold, Clark and Gonores call.

I have played several hands against OD where he 3-bet me preflop. Every time I've had a big hand like KK, TT, AK, and every time it's been super passive after the flop, usually with him checking behind on either flop or turn. He's consistently had big hands. He once just called down with QQ as an overpair to an 8 high board when I 3-bet preflop from the SB in a heads-up pot (I had TT).

OTOH, he's played a little more aggressive against Gonores after the flop. Gonores therefore thinks this dude is more aggressive than I do. At the time of the hand, we didn't know that we each had different opinions of OD. I haven't seen him 4-bet preflop yet tonight.

As for Gonores and I, while he knows I can raise real light UTG, he's still not going to get *too* wacky this early position. But he still doesn't necessarily only have like AK, AA-99, I'd be shocked if his range wasn't wider than that against my raise in this spot. FWIW, I've been running well tonight.

Flop is K93r

I bet, G raises, OD 3-bets, I call, G4-bets, OD calls, I call.

Turn K938. I check, G bets, OD calls, pause and call.

River 4. I check, G bets, OD calls, I tank and call.

You have AK? Did you mean to tell us what you had?

Clark, I like reading your posts and I respect your play, but what kind of discussion are you looking for here?

I'm a tad lost.

Hand reading exercise, and I want to see what others are putting the three players on.

This board and this action would seem to make that a pretty doable thing.

G has KK or 99. OD has AA. You have AK. These are my guesses and I'm also assuming you can 5bet preflop.

Edit: I just realized that G cant have KK since he didnt 5bet preflop. So change my guesses to G having 99, OD having AA, and Clark having AK.

I'd put G on 99 or KK or AK. You on AK. OD on AA and prob only AA.

You have AK.

Gonores has 99 or AK, in that order.

Old dude has AK or AA, in that order.

I'm guessing you all had AK because that would be kind of cute.

FWIW, you're have about 8.9% equity on the river (all of these are to three-way chops) which is plenty enough to call. Also, Gonores is overwhelmingly likely to have 99 if he doesn't have AK because of card deadness issues and the lack of a preflop 5-bet.

It should be noted that this is vegas, thus a 5 bet cap, so G or Clark rarely have AA/KK here.

This means that you think Clark shouldve folded the river if he indeed had AK. I agree with you.
