Default 33 vs lag

40/20/1.5 tricky player raises on button (that's the only read I have). I'm BB with black 33. I rarely 3bet low pockets against tricky lags, so I call.

flop 4.5 sb: 7s8sTc
I check/call

hypothetical turn 3BB:
what turn cards do I fold? Which are borderline?

real turn 3BB 2c:
I check/call

river 6BB after his bet:
what rivers do I fold?

If he's raising 50% of the time or more from the Button, then his range is wide enough that the turn card doesn't provide that much information to you. I'd probably fold to an ace, nine or queen and would be inclined to call down the rest. Obviously, this can change once you develop more of a read.

wow! what board are you looking to NOT fold? 245? come on, this isn't the absolute BEST flop for us, but its much better than c/f. when the flop comes J104 I'm much more likely to c/f than this flop.

fold flop, you wont improve on the turn and are clueless here. I really think calling down with 33 vs a kinda loose button raise is not profitable on this board in the long run even if u are good here.

If you are serious, then I think you will make/save more money by folding preflop with this hand.

Nate,

Why fold to a queen but not to a king?

I think I meant to say "jack" rather than queen.
