I liked it better in 1993. It's too cramped now. The place is actually huge, but they've built everything out inside so there's hardly any room to walk when it's crowded.

The MGM poker room AS it is today opened in 2005 btw, I was there, in March if memory serves.

Nice trip report, and Wynn is one of my favorite rooms as well.

Nice TR the most informative part for me was this:

[ QUOTE ]
I also had some great conversation with a local guy around my age (23) about hookers and pricing. He started telling me about the world of cocktail waitresses and how there’s a very thin line between waitress, stripper, and hooker. Also he was telling me how to negotiate with them, where to find the best ones, and how much they cost. It was awesome, I love talking to locals about vegas.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know I have gotten that vibe off some cocktail girls before but wasn't sure if I was just imagining things. I felt like this HOT chick at Venetian walking around with $1 chips in her cleavage was sort of screaming "this is for sale...CHEAP." Damnit I still regret not pursuing that.

I plan to (carefully) pursue this at the next opportunity!!!
