Yes. I don't think you can call another SB bet on river, especially if there will be a large dry main pot. You are only beating KT. But it's doubtful they both have KT, one of them almost certainly has the two-pairs.

Is there a reason you didn't raise the flop? Or is there a reason we shouldn't?

I think if it's heads-up, I would call the Flop. But in this situation, I think I would raise the Flop to $9 or so. As played, I fold turn as well.

OP: put the level of your game in the title next time please. Like [25NL]: Is this a good fold?

I would have made it $1.25 pre and I would have raised the flop.

As played, the fold is OK.

A reason not to raise flop is that a SB shove puts you in a tough spot. Would he do this with KQ or QT? He's an unknown, he could just as easily have KJ or 66. With UTG calling in between the pot will be protected going to the turn and if he leads again into 2 people (one being shorstacked whom he should expect to call) we will learn much more about the strength of his hand and can narrow his range considerably.

I think I learn more about SB if he shoves over a flop raise from me than if he leads the turn. I can give up TPTK in that spot. If I just call, I expect him to lead the turn, and I'm still in the same position, only now a scare card has hit and I can't get either of them off the hand -- and I don't want to try. I might as well have just folded the flop.

Even if a scare card hadn't hit, what would I learn by SB leading the turn?

I was SB on this hand. I like the way Hero has played this hands. With the range of hands i raise on the flop here, if you reraise i'm nearly always either pushing or folding. I may call with AK, not sure.

Anyway, the way to get value from your hand while you are ahead is to either raise the flop, hope i fold and isolate the shorter stack, who you're prob ahead of. Or just call and see whether i lead the turn. If the turn comes a card that doesn't help you, i'm definatly not betting anything you beat into 2 people, so its an easy fold if i bet.

Thay are just my thoughts, though depending on the image of the SB there may be other lines available

I already mentioned what you would learn. "With UTG calling in between the pot will be protected going to the turn and if he leads again into 2 people (one being shorstacked whom he should expect to call) we will learn much more about the strength of his hand and can narrow his range considerably."
