Default Teaching someone to play online?

My bro wants to learn to play online. He's played a few hundred $20 sng home games with his buddies, and has ventured up to turning stone a few times. I feel I can teach him, but how should he get started? Should I have him read a book or two first? i've read a few dozen, but which is best for a beginner? Should he watch some CR/PXF videos? are they too advanced or would they be worthwhile to a beginner? start him with sngs or cash? NLHE or LHE cash? what stakes? should i stake him, loan him, or just give him money to start him off? thanks for any and all input in advance. I'm looking forward to gettin him started.

"Getting started in Holdem" is probably the best book for a beginner.
