Re: Fiesta Rancho Poker Room - CLOSED
The Strip wise, for now:
MGM, Mirage, Wynn, Bellagio, Sahara, Luxor, Bally's, Palms and Excalibur, add Venetian and Caesar's too MAYBE, but they are late to the dance. Not mentioning the locals casinos because I could care less, full of cranky old folks, rather play with tourists happy to be here, ANY DAY. Downtown wise: Binion's and Golden Nugget only, and only because of the nostagia factor that brings people in. |

It's in a locals market and does in fact cater to a big locals clientelle. But I agree, it won't be closing anytime soon. |

Re: LA v. LV
IMO, LA poker rooms suck in terms of "atmosphere" compared to LV. However, I know I can find my games anytime, anyplace in LA. Not so in the scattered LV market. I'd rather see fewer larger and better populated LV rooms that might be able to support a greater diversity of games as well then the current scattering of small rooms, each struggling to fill anything other than NL.
