not always, some ppl will just flatcall with qq/kk/aa/(jj) frequently

[/ QUOTE ]

um i realize that for the others - esp jj/qq, but i believe that of these hands kk has a way higher liklihoood of being 4 bet.

You checked flop, draws missed, your hand looks SOOO much like AK, you gotta call. AQ mite vbet here, as well as a slowplayed KK preflop.

Ya that preflop action pretty much rules out AQ, however if you look at you're hand from villans perspective I think you would have a pretty wide range, meaning that he could easily be value betting KK. While you would probably expect a 4-bet pre, I think this will be kings or something else random enough to justify a river call.

Do you ever get c/r'd by air on the flop if you bet? Seems unlikely with your preflop action + stack sizes + the now very bloated pot (after a flop bet). He has to recognize the diminshing FE.

-If you have a very loose image then I may prefer a check but since no reads were given the above may serve as a default here....

how about bet/fold flop as "main" line.

checking flop + calling turn is ok and on river i'd fold to the bet and bet myself if checked to.

im not sure how solid he is

i think AQ could easily be in his range here.

i'm closer to shoving river than I am to folding.
but i still like a call
