NL25 Full ring (10)
Hero (CO)($26) Villian (BB) ($24) Hero: KsJs Preflop: Hero raises 4xbb, villian calls. Flop: QsTh8s Villian checks Hero bets: 5xbb Villian calls. Turn: 3h Villian checks Hero bets: 10x bb Villian calls. River: 2c Villian checks. Hero ?? Is this a good spot to make a 3.barrel? Don't have any reads on my opponent, so he could just be a calling station and call me down with 1. or 2. pair. Should I have checked behind on turn and made a bluff bet on the river if the villian checked again instead? Discuss! |

I really need a HH, I am lazy...... but for me, it depends (I know not helpful) apart from Cbets, I am normally very confident in my bluffs and when I get called, I am almost shocked .... however generally speaking I am done with this hand.

I think a smallish 3 barrel is OK here. It's an awfully wet flop and villain could easily be calling down with a Q here. But he's also got some draws/combo draws in his range too.

I think a "smallish" 3rd barell is spew, because he already called 15BB, and he won't fold unless maybe if you shove. I give up here, you had a fantastic draw and built the pot well. He may even be hiding something. Bottom line is: I need a really good read to bet stack on a river-bluff. I think it's more spew than genius.

So if your opponent calls 15 bb throughout a hand post flop, it always means hes going to call the river?
the reason for a smaller 3barrel is is folds his Ten sometimes, and all his missed draws which include Ace high hands that beat you. |

I only three barrel here if
1) Villain has shown me he knows where the fold button is 2) Draws make up a significant portion of his range. Ace high beats us here. |
