Re: Ivey another final table
[ QUOTE ]
Unfortunately he has no chance of winning tomorrow because Fiery Justice (Jon Little) is also at this FT. GOGOGOGO FJ [/ QUOTE ] that makes two guys i've played WW with that have gone deep. See, playing WW makes you good at poker! (Also, there are a lot of dumb people in this thread.) |

ah, this thread is funny, though a bit much on the leveling... [/ QUOTE ] It's not too much, because half the people in this thread are falling over themselves trying to show up the obvious levelers. |

Re: Ivey another final table
[ QUOTE ]
Ivey will most likely win the main event and the 50k horse [/ QUOTE ] I think this is incorrect. As others pointed out, he has about a 30 percent chance at winning each event. So the chance that he'll win both the WSOP main event and the 50K HORSE event is about 0.3*0.3 or 9%. So it is incorrect for you to say that he will most likely win both events. However the chance that he will win at least one of the events is (30+30-9) = 51%. So you would have been correct to say that he will most likely win at least one of these two events. |

Re: Ivey another final table
[ QUOTE ]
This is an awesome point, Ivey is indeed the Tiger Woods of poker as we all know and 20 years down the road when we look back on both of their careers we'll be saying similar things. Of the 30 or so bracelets Ivey is going to win probably 10-12 will be because other guys couldn't handle the pressure and attention that comes with sitting at the same table of a player of his calibre. [/ QUOTE ] Are there any left handed poker players that can be called the Phil Mikkelson of poker? |

I am just too good at leveling, no one gets it. [/ QUOTE ] If you have to say this, you really aren't good at leveling. |

Re: Ivey another final table
[ QUOTE ]
He is pretty much a lock for the main event, and I think he is about 30% to win any other tournament he enters. I am conservatively giving him 5 bracelets this year. However this is assuming PA is not playing in the events, otherwise everything changes. [/ QUOTE ] I put him at about 45% to cure Cancer this year. Well, 45% to cure some form of Cancer. For a broadspectrum, every kind of Cancer cure, he's only at about 26%. --Zetack |
