[ QUOTE ]
The way this guy is handling this kind of pisses me off too. [/ QUOTE ] Having said that, you should immediately forget that domain and choose another that isn't already taken... negotiating for an existing domain is not for you... |

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
If its really important, why not ask yourself how much you would pay for this. Not what you want to pay, but what you are willing to pay. Is it 1k? 2k? Then offer like 50% of it at first, then 75%, then 100%, or just say screw it if he keeps denying.

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
So I made an offer on a domain late last month. I offered $100 for a name with two common words. No response. I forgot about it. Then a week later, the registrar changed twice.
We have noted that the following changes occurred between 04/28/2007 and 04/29/2007: The registrar has been changed: OLD: SIGNATURE DOMAINS, LLC NEW: DSTR ACQUISITION III, LLC. We have noted that the following changes occurred between 05/07/2007 and 05/08/2007: The registrar has been changed: OLD: DSTR ACQUISITION III, LLC. NEW: SIGNATURE DOMAINS, LLC What's this all about? |

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
you blew it offering him peanuts. that works for some kid that has it but a business man isnt going to bother for 50 bucks. it is an insult.
so now you look like someone who he doesnt want to bother with at all. so offer him your top offer say 500 and tell him its his or another one for that price. if he says no move on. good luck. |
