Have you ever thought you felt your cell phone vibrate in your pocket, and when you grab for it...nobody is calling.

[/ QUOTE ]

If it happens while you're playing it might by vibration from the automatic shufflers.

sounds like it is getting bumped up one setting from vibrate, then bump back down to vibrate at some point.

[/ QUOTE ]

No because it happens with flip phones that cannot have the ringer settings changed when they are closed.

Like mine.

This mostly happens to me when I'm sitting in my car, windows down, music up so I know that if I am getting a call I possibly won't hear it so I make my brain extra sensitive to the vibration.

Or it could be cancer.

Why doesn't this feeling ever happen with something fun, like getting head? I'm sure there is a perfectly simple reason, but think about how sweet it would be to just be sitting there and suddenly feel like you're getting serviced.

this happens to me occasionally but the fake vibrations are usually more subtle than the real ones, so i think its just my leg muscles doing weird stuff. i run a lot so my leg muscles are often sore and get occasional pseudo-twitches.

It happens to me occasionally, usually when I am driving in my car with the stereo on. My leg usually rests up against the inside of my car door where the speaker is, and when a song with some bass comes on I start to feel a vibration. This is the main source of the problem for me.

I know most people were joking around, but just in case anyone was actually wondering whether or not cell phones cause cancer, there has been over one hundred million dollars in research done on the effects of cell phones on human health, and there is no credible research showing that cell phones cause any adverse health affects. There is no link between cell phones and cancer, and really no reason to believe that it does because cell phones do not emit ionizing radiation that damages DNA. The waves emitted by a cell phone are too large to cause any damage to DNA. Again, I know most of you are joking when you mention cancer, but thought I would just post this in case anyone was curious
