Float on the flop? I think I have to raise or fold on this flop. I think his range AJ+, mid-high PPs, and maybe some high SCs. I guess even though I was pretty sure he was going to c-bet, I find it hard to believe he still would without an ace here, after 2 cold-calls pre-flop.

If you;re pretty sure he has an ace with the 2 cold calls preflop then fold for sure. I'd advocate floating only if you thought he would cbet no matter what. If that's not the case, flaoting and raising are probably bad ideas.

That said, I still think you bump it preflop for value, and too keep others out of the hand.
