It's 50k, your cashier won't even let you see the 'bank wire transfer' button unless you enter in an amount over $50,000 for the transfer amount. I heard it was over 5k too, but I emailed them and they said it was 50k.

Are cashouts free on the pokerstars debit card?

[/ QUOTE ]

Cashouts are free, but you will be charged $2.50 when you make an ATM withdrawal.

Get an epassporte ATM card. I made a withdrawl from stars for 300, 5 seonds later it was already in my epassporte acct. Less then 10 minutes later I visited the ATM and had cash in hand. Doesnt get any easier then that.

Anything you withdraw up to the amount you deposited on stars will go into your Epassporte instantly. Anything beyond that though, and it usually takes 2 days to get into your account.

What's the fee for the ePassporte debit card and how long does it take to get one if you already have an ePassporte account?

Thought i would post this. In the end, I asked pokerstars.

I only asked because even though i've used epassporte to withraw (directly into my checking account) That is no longer an option with epassporte.

The actual sum is small ($300) ..i just don't like having my bankroll in the account over a certain amount.. I'm getting nervous with legislation and thought it would be smart to periodically move any excess money into my bank accounts..instead of sitting at epassporte or even Pokerstars..

I haven't cashed out becuase i'm not sure if losing the epassporte account altogether is the smartest thing to do either..so it's sort of in limbo.

Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for your email.

To have your cashouts done by check we will need to block your epassporte
account, please note if you want us to do this you will no longer be able
to use your epassporte account on PokerStars.

Cashouts will be credited back to any and all of the following methods
that you have used to make deposits, in the following order:

1. Switch, Maestro, Solo, and VISA (CFT eligible VISA cards only, not
all deposits qualify)
2. CentralCoin
3. NETeller
4. epassporte
5. eChecks

Cashouts are processed back to your original purchases, from the oldest purchase to the newest. Due to changes concerning MasterCard's policies, we can no longer credit cashouts back to MasterCard accounts.

Any deposits made using a CFT Eligible VISA that were processed
through the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) must be credited back to that
VISA up to the amount purchased in agreement with RBS' regulations.
Deposits made using a CFT Eligible VISA that were not processed
through RBS will not automatically receive cashouts.

Most VISA cards issued by European and Canadian banks are CFT
eligible. VISA cards issued by US banks are not eligible at the
present time.

When you make a cashout request, we will first cross-reference your
request with any Switch, Maestro, Solo and CFT Eligible VISA deposits
you've made. We will automatically credit cashouts back to Switch,
Maestro, Solo and CFT Eligible VISA accounts up to the amount
purchased, from the oldest deposit made with any of these methods to
the newest.

Once the full amount purchased has been credited back to these
methods, your cashouts will then be processed to CentralCoin first if
you've used that method to purchase (from oldest to newest).

If you have used NETeller to purchase, your cashouts will then be
processed back to NETeller up to the amount purchased, again from the
amount of your oldest NETeller deposit to the amount of your most
recent deposit.

If your cashout is being applied back to a previous NETeller deposit
that was made in any other currency than $US, your cashout will be
converted into your NETeller account currency by PokerStars before
being sent to NETeller. PokerStars does not charge a conversion fee.

If you have used ePassporte to purchase, your cashouts will then be
processed back to ePassporte up to the amount purchased, again from
the amount of your oldest ePassporte deposit to the amount of your
most recent deposit.

Lastly, if you have used eChecks to purchase, your cashouts will then
be processed back to your bank account up to the amount purchased,
from oldest to newest.

Once we have credited back the total amount you've purchased using all
of the above methods, your cashout will be processed to either
NETeller, or cheque (multiple currencies available), depending
on which method you choose at the time of your cashout request.

If you have used a CFT eligible VISA, eChecks or CentralCoin to
deposit, you can also choose to receive cashouts over the amount
purchased via these methods.

We apologize if this is an inconvenience for you but this is a
security feature designed to protect our customers against fraud. It
ensures that no one can profit from misuse of another's account.

For more details on our cashout policy, please visit:

If you have any other questions, please email us again any time.

Regards,

Troy

I just did a wire transfer for ~$15k. I talked to their support before the transfer and they said the wire transfer option is available to any cashout greater than $5k. I think you are misinformed...

Request a check man, I get them from Stars and they come in a timely matter. I live in South Florida and the checks come to me from a company they use in California to process them, and I get them within 4 to 5 business days. In fact last Tuesday I requested my 3rd one in a month and it came Saturday morning, I've been nothing but happy with the service and speed of cashouts at PokerStars. Similar, 3 for 3 with the checks taking about 5 business days to arrive in Alaska. No problems at all with my bank either. Checks come from some random corp name, so aren't really identifiable facially.
