WSOP ME: Which Day 1 to sign up for?

I won a seat on PStars on Sunday, and will probably go to Vegas instead of keeping the $11K. But which Day 1 to request, considering both expected strength of competition and practicality for travel/vacation planning?

Two considerations that come to mind:

-- If I choose Day 1C, I can show up later and have less dead time as far as the Tourney goes. (This is true, no? Or does one have to show up on Day 1A to register in person?) Because of this, though, I'm thinking that 1C will be the most popular choice for pre-regs -- does this make the field stronger or weaker (I'm guessing stronger).

-- I figure that there aren't many people who will aim for Day 1B, making that the day that all late arrivals get bumped into. Might that not suggest a higher proportion of tourists on that day?


What does everyone else think about this?
