Default QQ UTG Folding here too weak?

Villan is a good/tag player and has shown down some strong hands, but is folding here too weak? I have been playing tighly.

Event Buy-In: $10+$1
Total Prize Pool: $60
Game: No Limit Hold 'em
Level II: 50/100 Blinds (25 Minimum Chip)
Remaining Players: 6 (6 started)
Seat 1 : Tommy starts with 550
Seat 2 : Hero starts with 2,100
Seat 3 : Phil starts with 2,550
Seat 4 : Mark starts with 2,475
Seat 5 : Villan starts with 4,325
Seat 6 : Jon starts with 550

Seat 5 : Villan has the dealer button

>>>DEALING HOLE CARDS<<<
Hero dealt down Qh Qc
Jon posts the small blind 50
Tommy posts the big blind 100

Hero raises 350
Phil folds
Mark folds
Villan re-raises 900
Jon folds
Tommy folds

Hero folds??

Folding is possibly the worst play here. You should just shove the rest of your chips into the pot. If he has Aces/Kings than tough luck, but more often than not you're ahead here.

Raise less preflop (is this a Everest HH ?)

As played, I would push.

Stadard raise at the higher levels is 2.5bb, so t250.

If you have a good read that Villain is good TAG player, then his reraising range would be QQ+ and maybe AK, correct ? The way I see it, it was a good fold then. You are behind this range.

wtf, if villain knows that you`re folding QQ, he should prolly repop you with almost any two.

He could even be reraising JJ or AQ for value.
And then again, ppl do stupid stuff in a 10$. hell he could have 44.

I've been fooling around with pokerstove, and it really confirmed that it was a very poor play, giving him 99+,AKs,AKo it's 56/44.

It tells me JJ is a pass?

It really depends how accurate your range is, which you are giving him and how good he is.
Against a good player JJ might be a fold vs a certain range.
Its just that i wouldnt even fold QQ in most FR situations in a 10$, because never underestimate the chance that ppl are doing silly stuff.
But yes, JJ could be a tough spot (vs a good player).

I think my ranges are on the tight side, he is not a nit.

Thank you, very much appreciated.
