Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up
I'm probably folding here, OOP with a crappy holding against possible dominating hands...

Very easy fold. [/ QUOTE ] Are u serious? I haven`t done the math`s on it, but although it might be counterintuitive, you got insane odds. Lots of dead money, but it obv depends if the limper can fold his Q6s or other crap. if this wouldnt be a 1$, a push might be easier. Given that its a 1$ with ppl limp-instacalling K5 i am unsure. |

Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up
We hold a marginal holding with very low showdown value, OOP against a bigstack, who might as well be a very loose player who pushes you off a middlepair instead of checking down to eliminate the all-in dude... I just wouldn't bother calling here and watch the player(s) get bust, it's not only about pot odds here, you also got to consider position, stack sizes etc. etc. Also, MP1 might be raising if you call, although that's not so probable...

lemming, i hope nobody is seriously thinking about calling.
The question is if we are pushing to isolate. |

Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up
Ok so we have 2 all-ins in front of us, a huge stack who limped. We have to try to get the bigstack off of his hand, which we will probably be able to. MP3 will probably have a better hand than us the majority of the time. If we push to isolate and get the bigstack out of the hand, we are effectively calling the MP3's all-in. Therefore, he is entitled to that pot and we're actually going in behind.
But maybe I'm not understanding the situation so please explain. |

Re: The odds are great but the limper messed it up
Nah I think you understood it...
People think about raising to isolate the all-in, in which we hopefully are a 40-60 dog (disregarded UTG+1's all-in), against MP3, but because of the dead money in there, we actually get the pot odds. Although I don't think risking that much with a marginal holding which is likely to be dominated, is not worth "taking" these pot odds by raising to isolate... |
