Default NL 25 what to do here?

Villian is:39/13/8 over 40 or so hands

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $26.20
BB: $19.10
UTG: $23.00
Hero (MP): $26.50
CO: $26.75
BTN: $37.35

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, 2 folds, SB calls $0.15, BB checks

Flop: ($1) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $0.75, SB folds, BB raises to $4.00, UTG folds, Hero raises all-in to $26.25, BB calls all-in for $14.85
Uncalled bet of $7.40 returned to Hero

Turn: ($38.70) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($38.70) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $38.70 ($1.90 Rake)

Is this okay here? I don't think villian has a set maybe a set of fours. I think he will have raised TT, 77 PF so I am putting him on a TP hand or a funky 2Pair hand.
Is my shove here good and how about my range for the villian?

I wouldn't limp with this preflop, raise if anything. As played I don't mind getting it all in on the flop, sorry you didn't hit.

Using pokerstove, the most realistic (I don't think 7-4 is realistic here) hands villain has are:

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

10,890 games 0.005 secs 2,178,000 games/sec

Board: Ts 7c 4c

equity win tie pots won pots tied

So you are behind to his range, although you have a monster draw. I wouldn't have suspected you were a dog to his range, but you are a slight dog. I like the play as you show extreme strength and you do have a great draw. I wouldn't knock the play in the heat of battle.

Edit: I didn't think about Ac10c either...that would be a all in call possibly.

You can't trust your PT stats after 40 hands. So it's pretty hard to assign a range to villain, especially since he was in the BB.

Anyway, you are only behind a set here (right?) and the fact that BB can have any 2 pair combination makes your play 100% standard.

It would be helpful if you posted what you thought would be an accurate pokerstove range.

Raise preflop if you're going to play this.
Flop is standard.

One of the only other hands I can see that might call and AI here is another flush draw or the hands listed in the pokerstove. I might have missed a few, but who calls such a big overbet shove with many worse hands than listed in my pokerstove calc?
