Why do i keep coming back to this game?
I typically shoot in the 90's and lately am having trouble shaving off all of the small strokes that I keep hitting which add to my score quickly. I shot 47 from the tips at my home course for nine holes, then on the same day went to a par 3 course and shot +27 for 18 holes, it was a pretty rough experience. What area of my game do you think needs the most work on?

Re: Why do i keep coming back to this game?
Someone shooting in the 90's is hitting 50% of their shots within 30 yards. Work on short game and putting. Once you are confident getting up & down with some regularity, move to approach and then tee shots.

First of all, don't play from the tips.
This question is pretty general, but ya...work on your short game 70% of your practice time. |

Re: Why do i keep coming back to this game?
all golfers regardless of skill need to work on the short game the most, specifically putting. dont worry about improving your tee shots too much, because if you can get up and down all the time that is where you are going to shave the most strokes off your game.
