Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
He is a great NL player who is maybe playing against the top 3 or 4 NL players in the world.
And who knows, maybe he plays him in their game so they in turn give him action in PLO, where he has a massive edge. |

Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
For accuracy's sake, I believe magicpitch1, ballsrider, and
davidbenyamine1 are also accounts that DB used before he became a FT pro and was limited to 1 account. He's down considerably in NLHE this year, but more than made up for it at PLO. |

[ QUOTE ]
Why are you asking this about DB instead of a bigger name with bigger losses. According to highstakes.nu, DB is not in the top 10 as a winner or loser at HSNL since the beginning of the year. Big names in top 10 losses are Luigi66369 $-692.511,95 Gus Hansen $-499.018,90 Ram Vaswani $-445.324,50 Mike Matusow $-429.635,15 I guess you'd think PA is -EV at HSNL, too? [/ QUOTE ] Your post doesn't make any sense. He is specifically asking why a player with a (and I'm quoting him directly here) "world class reputation" is a loser in HSNL games. Gus and Matusow are legitimate fish at the nosebleed stakes. I don't know what people think of Ram, but while there may not be games forming around him, none of the top players would be complaining if he sat either. As far as Antonius, the guy is up several million dollars in the past year+ across several games. If he has a leak, no one has spotted it. Anyway I have no idea why DB's results are what they are. It's possible that his marathon sessions contribute to his poor showings. If he doesn't have that great a relative edge in NL vs the players he plays regularly AND he isn't playing fresh (while they are) this could make him -EV a lot of the time. |

Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
I'm curious as to what Benyamine's overall results at NL are since switching to his "David Benyamine" account.

Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
The reason for Antonious loss this year is that he is down alot in NL HU. He lost alot against IDreamofJenna and lost quite a bit today to Durrr even though he did come back to win most of it back.

Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
he prolly does it to bait peps in like yourself OP. He's up a ton on the year....spewing a little back to just to run them over in the future isn't a horrible horrible investment.

Your post doesn't make any sense. He is specifically asking why a player with a (and I'm quoting him directly here) "world class reputation" is a loser in HSNL games. [/ QUOTE ] I beleive PA has at least as big a reputation as DB, but PA is down much more than DB this year. PA is the 3rd biggest loser at NLHE on full-tilt so far this year, down $657.313,95 in over 12,000 hands (not even including the >$100,000 he lost today to Durrrr) It seems people think PA is the greatest player in the world these days. So I was just wondering why OP chose to ask his question about DB instead of PA, when PA probably has the greater reputation and the bigger losses. [ QUOTE ] As far as Antonius, the guy is up several million dollars in the past year+ across several games. [/ QUOTE ] But OP was talking about NLHE and not other games. |

Re: Why is Benyamine such a loser in HSNL?
> For having a reputation as such a world class player,
> what does he do that makes him such -EV in all the big NL > gameS? Here are a few reasons: 1) It's his 4th best game. 2) He's playing in the toughest NL games in the world. 3) He often plays super long sessions and multitables a lot of different types of games at once (i.e., he's not fresh and not focused). |
