Default I just won a WSOP seat Mansion (help needed)

Hi all, and thanks for reading.
I have just won a seat to the WSOP in Mansion,
but I think I won't be able to get there due to my job
and the passport times.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
I know this won't be a problem in Stars, but how about Mansion?

Any help appreciated.

Considering they have been running an average double overlay, I wouldn't hold your breath for a $12500 cash alternative.

If Stars isn't able to preregister people, I don't see how Mansion can.

Because they have no US customers?

U.S. customers isn't the issue here. Its 3rd party registration.
I'm very curious myself as I was thinking about playing for a seat there. But would only do so if there is a cash alternative.

I will keep you updated about this issue.
Apparently, the first time I spoke with one of their representatives prior to playing the satellite, they told me there was a possibility of transfering this to another player.

In their terms says the seats won't be redeemable for cash, but I hope they can make some kind of exception. If anyone has had a similar experience, please let me know.

Mansion may not have figured out how they are going to do it yet. Even though they are nonUS, it is not clear they can do anything but give you the money.

In the US, you can go to some firm that somehow gets you a passport quickly. I don't know if it is impossible to get a passport in this timeframe in Argentina.

Honestly, I will prefer the money instead of the ticket for the Main Event, but the passport+job issues are definitely going to be a pain in the ass, more if I should organize everything in a month.

Does Anyone knows when the online sites start registering people for the WSOP this year?

Then why play a satellite?

No one knows because no site has announced that they can do this, while several have announced they cannot preregister players.

Thanks benza for replying. Please let me clarify that I went to Mansion expecting the 100K guaranteed, and realized there that it was changed to a 8 WSOP seats guaranteed. Also, lot of players play satellites in order to earn money, I think this isn't something very rare or confusing...

If they can't preregister players, what else can they do than giving the money to the players?
