Default Live 3/6 KQo

Lately the game has been a little tighter than a typical live 3/6, but still very passive.

Full table, two EP callers to me in late MP, I call with KQo, all fold behind me so, SB calls, BB checks his option. Five to the flop, with me last to act.

Flop A A 9 r

checked to me, I check.

Turn (A A 9) Q

SB bets out, gets one caller, I call.

River (A A 9 Q) Q

SB checks, EP bets, I call, SB folds.

With no reads I play it the same way except that I would usually pop this up preflop.

Raise pre-flop, bet the flop. As played raise the turn, fold to any aggression. You and i both know you don't hold an A in your hand, but with a table full of loose passives they will all fold to that flop unless they are stubborn or hold an A. Betting to this field says "I can beat the board", so bet!

Any reads on the EP players yet or just typical passive types? A PF raise may have knocked out 1-2 of the blinds which would have been good in case one of them did in fact have a weak Ace hand esp since you had pos on the playas here.

I raise this preflop, but I don't think limping is bad. I bet the flop if it's checked to me. As played, I just call the turn and river.

yeah I think my biggest mistake was not betting the flop after it was checked around to me.

I hadn't been playing long but they both seemed to be your typical 3/6 passives
