If so, would you still go there? You must learn lessons from movies. They are obv far more important teaching tools than school, you must capture their essence.

brag been there done that, club pavement in nairobi is pretty sick, cafe latina in the new muthaiga market is great italian food, le petit prince, and alain bobbys for french, you need to goto the muthaiga market and goto debonairs pizza, i used to go there every day after school to play pool and drink vodka, and then these sandwiches are like subs but different, you can get weed at any roadside coca cola stand for like 30 cents they will give you pre rolled joints, just say weh tafadali bhangi bwana, and the only kiswahili i still remember, is moja beeri barriidii barriiiiidiii sana tafadali, which just means beer very very cold please.
see if you can get down to mombasa on the coast all white sands, and if you can try to stay away from the touristy groups you guys are huge fish and get the worst treatment, enjoy kenya is [censored] sick.

This won't be bad at all once you're out in the country.
It's the cities in Africa that are hellacious for Americans (from my experience at least). Prepare to get assulted by beggars. BTW Kilimanjaro is a huge brag if you get to see it, which you presumably will.
