JJ feels like the cutoff point

at the 3.40s or 6.50s yes, id probably call, higher, probably not

I don't like the call. Why should Hero get in trouble with a marginal hand here? Hero got still 40 BB if he folds.

Because he is ahead of both ranges and still has 28BB if he lose ?

I think it's very close, but I also like the call (without reads).

I like these situations. You can lose to UTG and still win some chips.

I put SB on a wider range here than most would. His play does have an isolation component which can add lower pairs and A9 and lower to his range. And even overcards still make this a good call.

And in the event SB has JJ+, you still have almost 30BB.

And if you win this hand, you have knocked out two and have a stranglehold on the table.

Two big thumbs up.

if sbs range is tight as hell (7%) its still a push, @ agnoke
