call for bigger potential pot or drive out to increase equity?
I think the flopcall is pretty clear(?). Now on the turn should i call with my 14.5-15(9 spades, 4 7s, 1.5 for the Ace; half out for the queens?) outs(correct estimate of outs???) for a bigger potential pot or raise to drive out the remaining two? Party Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $1/$2 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls, CO calls. Re: call for bigger potential pot or drive out to increase equity?
Turn is an easy call.
Your equity isn't as good as you think it is with just 1 card to come. I think your Ace outs are pretty bad almost never if you raise and someone calls. The only reason to raise in a situation like this would be if you thought you had a better hand than CO AND you were pretty sure that both players behind you would fold. That's not the case on a board like this. You are almost never going to clean up your Ace and Q outs. |

Re: call for bigger potential pot or drive out to increase equity?
u could definitely clean up ur A and Q outs as people behind u will fold second pair TK and Kx, there is value in that, but Id probably just be looking for overcalls as well and hoping to spike.
flop peel is definite. Ur getting odds to spike just a 7 closing the action plus u have the bdfd. |
