Default Fold this wrap on the turn?

With $50 stack on $0.25/$0.50 I called a raise to $3 preflop with 9 T K A. The flop came Q J 6 rainbow; villain potted for $10, guy in the middle folded, I called since I have four eights, three nines, three tens, three kings and three aces to make my hand. I am sure villain has a set. Blank turn, still no flush draw. Villain pots it for $30; I have $37 left. Do I call?

Putting villain on a set of jacks or queens, there are 42 unknown cards, 16 which make my hand, so I am getting better than the 2/1 on my money the pot is laying me.

I think with 16 outs I still have to call here every time, even if it means going all-in with no-pair - do you agree?

(by the way I called and missed).

This is from a guy who has played PLO for less than week, but I see no reason not to raise flop. If you pot it, it's basically a push, since he's folding/raising.

if you don't push the flop then I think the turn is a fold for the following reason -
even though you are getting right odds , this assumes all your outs are good, which is not the case if you opponent has some of the same str8 draws you have which is pretty likely since people like coordinated cards.

Flop call is good if he can put villain on a set.
Turn is also a call, Hero is calling 30$ to win 67$, since noone ever folds a straightening river card in this situatio( sometimes the pot will be split though) I dont know how much difference that will make.

If we assume villain holds a coordinated hand and blocks two of heros outs the odds are = 16/40 =0.38 = 38%
Hero is calling 30$ to win 67$ 30/97 = 0.30

this is prolly call unless he is tight and only plays coordinates hands..

Do you really think we get payed by a set if the turn card is e.g. T?

I guess hero's outs are total 16 -> 14 if you deduct the two.

I was saying more like JJT9 or AKQJ or QJT9 or QQKT or AJJT or something and you're pretty crushed you only have like 10 outs or so.

Is getting it all in on the flop bad? Unless villian was tight and I had a strong reason to believe top set+str8 redraw, I would. Leak?

yes based on the relatively low stakes and that villain is bad enough to only take this line with a flopped set according to Heros read.
