Default 99 on button vs reraise

i am confused from the moment i face the 3bet to the flop. i hate these situations as i feel i dont have the hand to 4-bet, i seem to have enough of a hand to see a flop, but end up folding a lot when i miss.

thoughts?

if i call the 3bet PF its becasue i think BB has been playing back at my button opens pretty light, and i am not playing 99 strictly for set value (no where near deep enough). we either need to be calling PF and sometimes winning at showdown with one pair, or calling PF and planning to make a move at certain flops.
so in this case i call flop and see what he does on the turn. most TAGs at this level arent betting a turn blank with less than JJ and i dont want to turn my hand into a bluff on this board.

now if this is the first time youve seen him 3bet you from the BB, then fold PF, fold flop.

I agree with cs3, but it also depends on what you have been doing on the button. If you have been stealing a lot, he may be just playing back at you, in this case I would call and see what happens on the turn. If you havent been stealing, he probably has something, I would probably fold pf.
