Default AK flop c/r bluff

NL $.50/$1 on Pokerstars

Seat 1: Villian ($150) on the button
Seat 3: Hero ($165) posts BB

Folds to CO who limps in

Villian raises to $4

Hero raises to $14 with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

CO folds and Villian calls

Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks, Villian bets $20, Hero raises to $60

No real reads on Villian, because I have not been at the table long. He probably views me as LAG since I won a big pot with 86s when I caught a straight about an orbit ago.

lol so ur that guy who stacks off to me when i have KK here and bait u.

ok but seriously this is a terrible spot, whatever he called you with pre flop usually likes this flop. When you take the lead preflop and then C/r the flop, it always looks like ur full of it. Also - if you somehow do get this play to work, you most likely are bluffing with the best hand. C/f flop, or if you think villain can fold a hand or somehow might have been playing for a perfect flop, make a cbet.

plz dont do this.

But doesn't a regular person c-bet in this spot most of the time, while people usually c/r with great hands? I thought it was reasonable that he could put me on a set or a higher overpair than his if in fact he did have TT-QQ.
