Default Cost of Regulation

There has been some discussion about the merits of regulation and the potential costs to players so I thought some might be interested in the UK charges from Sept. This comes from the links below - a parliamentary answer and the Gambling Commission consultation document.

The site fees are based on gross gambling profit (annual) of up to £5m ($10m), between £5m and £100m and over £100m

£12,733 £34,176 £66,341 are the annual charges. There are also some sw supplier charges but not huge. The cost of regulation doesn't seem to be too high and should not be a big barrier to entry. These sort of fees will not be significant for sites or players.
