Don't you think that's asking a little much of people?

buckslayer,

I had to read his comment twice to figure it out, too. He was making a joke that asking people to do division is asking too much of them.

This came to me last night: It may also be worthwhile mentioning that if you rotate it 90 degrees, you can fit 8 standard full sized tables on it (as it will then be 1600 x 2560)

hey bro. great screenshots. good stuff. what is the best deal anyone has seen on the 30"?

for the meantine, all i want is 6 tables of absolute- will 1600 x 1200 accomplish this (i cannot do basic division, btw ), or do i need more? i am planning to begin a challenge where i play 25k a week, and want to make sure i have 2 monitors w/ 6 each.

what kind of laptop/desktop do you use with your setup? maybe if i complete my challenge successfully, i'll treat myself to the 30". pretty cool

When you speak of "Dual Link DVI", do you mean that you can just tell by the port. Like this?

So which graphics cards can I use?

There are more and more compatible cards being released every day. As mentioned before, the best way to find one is to go into your local retailer or search online merchants and specify "dual link DVI". Here are some compatible models though:

Nvidia Quadro FX 3000, 4000, 3400, 4400

Sapphire X1300 XT, X 1650 Pro and X 1650 XT

ATI FireGL V3400, V5200, V3300, Radeon 9600 Pro

GeForce 7950GT, 8500GT, 8800GTX, 8800 GTS

[/ QUOTE ]

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 XT. Would this card work?

I don't think this monitor rotates to portrait mode.
