[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] i just think if you want a chance at winning the tournament and not just hanging on then you should gamble here. 5500-6k each round and he has 16k. i doubt you have the time to wait for a better spot. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: AKs - three all-in to you
Right, this addresses most of my thinking (of course, some of my best thinking comes after I make a play). Since at least one villain will most likely have a pair, is the pot paying me enough to compensate for possible/likely duplication.

Re: AKs - three all-in to you
Is CO-1 a thinking player? He should obviously shove a wide range here, if he's at all decent this is the pure minimum:
equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 28.047% 17.28% 10.76% 833311 518888.67 { AKs } Hand 1: 43.849% 33.61% 10.23% 1620610 493392.67 { QQ+, AKs, AKo } Hand 2: 28.104% 26.48% 01.62% 1276748 78159.67 { 22+, A7s+, KJs+, A9o+, KQo } Even if he shoves tight, it doesn't much matter: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 28.047% 17.28% 10.76% 833311 518888.67 { AKs } Hand 1: 43.849% 33.61% 10.23% 1620610 493392.67 { QQ+, AKs, AKo } Hand 2: 28.104% 26.48% 01.62% 1276748 78159.67 { 22+, A7s+, KJs+, A9o+, KQo } Calling seems fine to me, although I'm not doing the exact math here, OP can do that |
