Default Stop-loss, stop-win, and bankroll building

I haven't seen much discussion about this in the micros and I wanted to get some people's opinions about a couple of things. First off, stop-losses. I've heard that you should stop playing at a table after I lose so many buy-ins regardless if there's a 60% VPIP. What limits do you guys set if any? 2 buy-ins?

How about the opposite, stop-wins? I read a Chris Ferguson article that said in a cash game you should leave when the amount of money in front of you represents 10% or more of your overall bankroll. I've also heard you should just keep playing until the table goes bad. Does that apply when trying to build a bankroll?

I'd like to see some discussion...

I stop when I'm not playing well. I play when I'm playing well. Quite simple.

Assuming you are bankrolled enough for your limit (20-30+ BI), I don't quit unless I am tilting or am playing bad.

2 buy-ins? LOL. The idea of stop losses or stop wins is rediculous from a money standpoint. If you are properly rolled for a game it the only time you should ever leave becasue you've won or lost a lot of money is if your losses/wins have put you on tilt or the games go bad.

Poker is a continuous game. The next hand might be in two seconds or two days, but there's still a next hand and you could lose or win a bunch of money when it does eventually occur.

I play no longer than 2.5 hours / 3 tables at the same time. I do it only since a week in the Small Stakes but it seems to help my game a lot.

I like phil iveys approach to this topic,on full tilt when you see him lose a huge pot which would subsequently tilt him he insta leaves. obviously he wants to be playing his A all the time online and i think this strategy is excellent for minimising loses and maximising wins.
