it goes from the term 'prawn': keep the body, throw away the head'

lobster; 'throw away everything but the soft fleshy part'

I've also used/heard "LDB" for "Long Distance Beauty"

I think a lot of these are made up. In Australia we say "aeroplane", not "airplane"

Its English and Aussie new slang and depends which part of the country you are from. I always use airplane....
