I'm torn between Anthony Hopkins (who played Nixon in Nixon ) or Dan Akroyd in My Fellow Americans

Michael Douglas as Andrew Shepherd in The American President kicked some major ass. I dig the idea of using Camp David as his nookie retreat...

President Andrew Shepherd: We had a nice couple of minutes together. She threatened me, I patronized her. Didn't have anything to eat, but I thought there was a connection.

Strong consideration must be given, however, to Kenneth Branagh's portrayal of a young FDR in the HBO film Warm Springs. Also excellent in this is Cynthia Nixon (Miranda from Sex in the City), although strange to say, I don't think she was ugly ENOUGH to play Eleanor Roosevelt.

You don't win a prize -- you can't spell Lemmon correctly even when it's written right below what you're saying. No prize for you.

You guys are ALL wrong!

Kevin Kline as Bill Mitchell in "Dave"

Case closed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes Dave was very good, but any way you spin it,
Kline's role was of someone who looked like and was to impersonate the president,
whereby his alternate role of actually portraying the president got about
2 minutes screen time (e.g. boring; un-noteworthy)

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you kidding? He nailed his secretary!
