Ive seen a couple of good dealers, but where I play, the dealers are complete LAGTards. I was playing NL the other night, FR with two dealers at the table. One guy would take almost any draw to the river, and the other guy would never EVER fold preflop. I caught on to this and raised KK to 75 UTG and THEY BOTH CALLED. I pushed the flop (had 75 left) (no Ace) and one dealer folded (miracle!) and the other called with some garbage offsuit ace. I held up, but was completely amazed these people who spend so much time around the game could be so bad at it. The one who folded would have hit a set by the river. He was so pissed.

[ QUOTE ]
I thought it was a semi-standard rule that no personel can play in the room they work in. Several dealers have told me that. [/ QUOTE ] dealers cannot play in their own room in most of the oklahoma casinos as well. |

The point is that as a regular player here, I don't want some dealer running off fish from the room.

am i the only one who has a problem w/ OP identifying the dealer by name? seems easy enough that 2+2ers will just seek out cathy on her off nights off now. seems like a potentially bad precedent to allow.
this type of player identification isnt allowed allowed in other forums w/ good reason. also to note, lousiana poker rooms do not allow dealers to play in their own rooms after hours. bwana |
