NL 10 AA. Facing big river bet.
Villain is 40/17/2.6 over 35 hands. Plays somewhat tricky but loose preflop.
Do you think he would call the 50c pfr with a 9 and OOP? I don't think he would bluff $5, so perhaps caught 2 pair. Any thoughts please on his play, and what my response should be. Also, I hate my flop bet. I would bet this to around 80c over 80% of the time. Re: NL 10 AA. Facing big river bet.
Bet more on the flop. Around pot size. You need to protect your hand from flush and straight draws. Reraise more on the turn your allowing him too draw cheap. As played you can't lay down a set of Aces. Small children would cry.
With his stats, there are alot of 9 hands he would call with from the BB. |

Re: NL 10 AA. Facing big river bet.
If you've raised to $0.5 pf you need to bet more on this flop. You're highly likely to be ahead, so shove in about $0.8 - $1.
You've hit you're set on the turn, but plenty of hands in the villain's range have re-draw value, so make sure you get him to pay for his draw by raising to about $4-5 |
