Can you please link to these statements? Maybe not all "several," but at least 2 would suffice so I know what in the world you're talking about. Otherwise it's just more rumor and speculation, most of which I'm getting pretty sick of around here after all the talk of the whole show being fixed. I think he's under the impression that deferring gives him the option to choose who sings first in the second half.

Blake's in it to win it. He knows all the tricks, including that doing the "gentlemanly" thing will gain him some votes.

fwiw, Zabasearch had Jordin as the winner a few days ago. Now they're saying that things are trending towards Blake.

If Jordin sings poorly, then yes he does. If Jordin is decent, then no he doesn't.

Blake isn't going to be changing anyone's minds tonight, people know what he sounds like. It'll be Jordin who has to go out with a bang and take Melinda's voters.

If Blake kills the rendition of his songs it could do a ton for him. Their styles are so different that song will be the first time they are really head to head.
