Default NL50 - 99 facing all-in overbet on river from SB

I'm taking a shot at NL50. I'm playing one table and just not getting any cards to speak of - rivered twice to be down about a buyin. Villain is 25/14/1.2 over 55 hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($63.40)
MP ($74.10)
Button ($75.35)
SB ($61.60)
BB ($100.90)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls $1.75, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: ($4.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, SB calls $3.

Turn: ($10.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, SB calls $8.

River: ($26.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $48.6 (All-In)</font>, Hero really thinks he's being fed a load of crap.

What say you?

I could probably find a fold here. 77 seems like a possible holding, or 88. Every time I am faced by this decision I think so myself "there's no way someone would play a big hand like this", but then I remember that my opponents are not rational players.

Unless villain is known to be tricky, many times this bet means exactly what it seems like: he hit his hand and got his chips in as fast as he could.

easy river fold. this is not the spot to find a heroic call.

do not bet the turn.
